I’m running for Gade Valley Council because I believe in the power of community and in solving the issues that matter most to all of us. Safer Streets
Everyone in Gade Valley deserves to feel safe where they live. I will work closely with local police to ensure our area gets the attention it needs—tackling anti-social behaviour, improving street lighting, and supporting visible neighbourhood policing. Safety starts locally, and I will make it a priority to ensure our streets are well looked after and properly policed.
How I will work for you
Stronger Voice
I will hold regular town hall meetings and maintain an open-door policy, ensuring that the voices of Gade Valley residents are heard and acted upon. Your concerns will always be my priority, and I will represent them with conviction in every council session.
Protecting the Green Belt
Gade Valley is under real pressure from overdevelopment. I will stand firmly against unnecessary building on our green belt and push back on plans that don’t reflect the wishes of local residents. Development must be sensible, limited, and supported by proper infrastructure—not forced through at the expense of our community. Once our green spaces are gone, they’re gone for good.
Improving Local Amenities
II’ll advocate for improved parks, better recreational spaces, and more community hubs where residents can come together. I’ll also work to enhance healthcare accessibility by pushing for more GP availability and ensuring mental health services are easily accessible. I will prioritise fixing local roads and improving transport links to make life easier for everyone in our community.
Infrastructure & Traffic
Traffic congestion, especially on busy roads like the A41, is a common frustration for Gade Valley residents. Addressing local transportation issues, including public transport options, road repairs, and traffic management, would be a priority for improving day-to-day life in the area.
Support local business
I will champion local businesses by advocating for policies that support entrepreneurship and help small businesses thrive. This includes creating a more business-friendly environment, offering support for startups, and ensuring that local businesses get fair access to council services. I’ll work to bring more networking opportunities, grants, and resources to help Gade Valley’s businesses grow and create jobs in our community.
